Isn't the Euro version 2 cyl? I'd wait on that one...

The FI will definitely win over the potential Kawi buyers, unless the price difference is too much.

Looks nice, I wish Suzuki or Honda would make a race inspired 250cc sport bike.

If they tacked on another R to the end there and released it in the states I would be all over it. ^^

Do you mean a bike loosely based on the old MotoGP 250 bikes?

Looks like the motor might be a variant of the CRF250R motor?

I dont think it would be too much fun on the street. It'd be like trying to drive an F1 car.

They were as usable on the street as any 16 valve I4 really.
You could cruise all day if you liked, but when you torch it, and the needle goes over 17k (and with gear driven cams) it's a beautiful sound/feeling.
Very F1!
But no snatchiness due to high revs or anything.
The gearing and the way the engine made it's power were well worked out, tons of fun around town or the open road.

One thing you had to watch was hitting a motorway with a cold engine because it runs pretty high revs even just cruising.

Here's a nice vid for the sound, think he has open pipe exhaust here!

I'd never ever want a CBR250RR if it were really like that. Hell, I hated riding my Honda Rebel in town cause of the constant shifting.

Agreed, it would be stunningly annoying as a daily rider, but as a weekend bike I bet it would be more fun than a barrel of Gixxers.

I rode a MC22 for a while...loved it, so flickable, so small, so fun.

Maybe it is the reason why I'm looking for a 2 stroke sportbike in the future.

Really? I think the ninja looks more agressive. This reminds me of an sv or something. However, the fuel injection and abs interest me.

i agree. i'm biased towards honda, but that ninja imo is the most aggressive looking 250 on the market. i'd still buy the honda, though.

How much is this thing going to cost? Anyway, the bars are too high, the seat is too low, and the muffler is way too big.

That pages says it weighs 359 lbs. If thats dry weight, thats at least 30 pounds more than I would like a bike like this to weigh.
