Up up up
So I've got coilovers on my EF hatch, and I live where it snows. Right now my Honda is sitting about 8 inches off the ground. How high can I raise my coilovers while still keeping my axles happy? Is there a point where there would be to much angle on the CV joints that may cause them to wear abnormally or fail? I won't drive it that much in the winter since I've got a beater pickup to drive, but I think it'd be funny to see a 4x4 stanced EF hatch.
Thanks,

The more angle to them the weaker they become. They don't have a specific point of no return. if you were to use a longer suspension arm that allowed for a longer axle, you wouldnt have such a drastic angle. if you made custom motor and tranny mounts to drop the axles to the hubs height, you could space everything else down and achieve your desired.
So if I don't launch it or drive hard while its up in the air I should be fine? I'd be hard pressed to put that much work into it with no shop and it only being in this configuration for a few months.
best thing to do would be to separate an old axle and see from the inside how far you can go. i had no trouble with my 4runner when i cranked down the torsion bars and put my axles at a larger angle, i dont know how far an ef can go, so thats why i'm attempting to slap atv tires on my hatch and make a run in the snow.
