The car is set up nice and etc but god help that engine if those are chinese turbos.

Gimme a pm. looks like you could use a nice phenolic carb spacer and a turbo oiler set up to keep those turbos in decent shape.

How do u like that set up? I have a single turbo set up for my nova that's waiting to be put on. How much boost are u running? I'm pretty much waiting on finding a good blow through carb.

i deff love the turbo set up but would probly jsut go with one big tubo since this isnt a true drag car and really no need for twins but its deff. alot of fun to drive i was runing on 5 pounds of boost with the 5 pounds wastegate springs went and bought some 15 pound springs and ran like crap so put the 5 pound springs in and was some how runing 10 pounds like i said im all new to this turbo set up and tune its deff. a learing process.

Nice, Ya I'm just going to be running one big turbo, its mostly a street car but i like to take it to the track once in awhile. I have 8LB springs, hopefully it will all hold up. When u built the set up did u have a blow through carb already or did u try it with a normal one? I was curious to see if my quadrajet can handle the 8lbs.

Do you have any sound clips or videos?

i may have some videos floating around il check and see if i do as for the carb it was ran normal and then with the power valve drilled out a little and i would say that it ran about the same.

as for the cage i got all the time in the world to work on the car the cage will just be for looks definately will need more work untill that cage would be put to use.

I hope that motor doesnt have nice internals. when those turbos come apart and enter the engine its gonna make a mess. and its just a matter of time till that wastegate tube cracks clean off, way too far off the header to begin with and its not even gusseted. sorry to sound like a dick but its the truth.

I have to agree on the WG tube. A 454 TT 66 nova I helped with had his break after 2 years, but it was much shorter. I gusseted it for him and it's been fine.
This is the original design that he fit and I welded for him years and years ago.

Then, after a few years of street driving and drag racing, it cracked right in the HAZ on the tube, and he tried to MIG it.

I told him we should fix it properly so I took it apart and gusseted it and repadded the tube and collector on both sides.

I suggest you do this first.
He's gone 9.1's at 160mph with this set-up on a 454.
I would have agreed with the turbo comment, but this guy is running the same type on his 454 with a blow-thru set-up with no issues for years. Not that it's top notch stuff, but it can last. I think this guy has just been lucky. He wanted to see how long e-bay turbos would last.

For what? The waste gate stuff will be at least 1.5" OD. I just can't think of what would be that small.
