Default block ?'s

i have a max milled b 16 head ported on the intake side and flat face valves on a 89mm blueprint ls crank and some 9:5.1 cp pistons in a ls block if i put that head on would my compression raise a lot...cause the guy i bought the head from had some ctr in his lsvtec and it lightly stamped the arrows on the head... no crack or anything but my ? is will it be raised and any educated guess how much would really f+en help me...

Just assemble with a used head gasket and some playdough to check for issues

im planning to shoot BIG nitrous and i think 9:5.1 is too low (fail to find info on low comp nitrous for B series)...just want to know where my compression might be sitting at... the head and block is apart but i dont want to open the blocks guts everywhere and measure...it was a used fully built turbo block but only had 500 miles on and i plan on hitting 200+ nos before i go turbo cause i want a fresh 0 miles turbo built if i plan to boost

It won't be too low for nitrous. Higher compression will make more power, but it's not like it will hurt it or anything.

I hope you know what you're doing when it comes to tuning the kit.

I would be more concerned with the rods than the block. The increased volume in the combustion chambers is something to be concerned about with a higher compression engine, and the block certainly bores some of the brunt. However the Rods, and Crank also share in the duty and can come apart under heavy spray.

With good Rods, and head gasket setup you will have better insurance.

i dont think clearance is his issue here. just compression numbers.

but def do you research. if ur runnin stock rods i would sand out the cast line and get them shot peened. that will greatly improve fatigue life

the block is a fully built block...full deck sleeves mainly turbo rods with blueprints crank and it's bore to 84mm...set up was made for turbo but im taking this to a new direction first... was also thinking about going dry with i.d 2000 cc but if i go wet i only need i.d 1000 cc and a bosch pump....wat do you guys think.... and also choosing the golden eagle 84mm head gasket..but i heard a lot of bad things about their head gasket too but they are good with motors too...

cc your domes, cc your pistons, measure piston to deck, then figure out what headgasket you are going to need. These are measurements nobody is going to be able to tell you and calculate your static compression for you.

oh also on your nitrous questions, I have had the best luck and recommend a direct port system. Unfortunately it is the most expensive, but usually the better setup is. It allows more consistent metering of fuel and nitrous between cylinders vs. other attempts.

b16 head on ls block and from what i read you only have flat faced on intake side or id that just the port? you should even that out either way
but no compression will be 10ish range not anything at all to worry about
as for clearance arn't those pistons flat like a table top unless your cam is a monster i would worry
messaure deck height to piston bam call cometic slap it on n rip
