99siRs EM1 build Thread From Canada B20 Vtec Contentttt
When i was 16 i bought my first car electron blue pearl 99 civic sir it was completely bone stock when i bought it. I am now 18 and have built it up quite a bit. Have payed for it all myself and it took some timee. I have been a long time lurker but have never really posted. Shoutouts go to Rick and Amo at Nizztex in toronto canada, Graeme At canadian cylinder head, richard my paint guy, milo from jdm addiction and ralph who tuned it on the rukus dynoo
When i bought the car

Drove the car for 1 summer completely stock then pulled the original b16 note the car had 287000 clicks so it was time for a rebuild the body was and still is in immaculate condition



Over the winter the build began underbody suspension was first went with skunk2 lcas asr brace beaks bar and ctr sway bar and for a little more reinforcement password jdm 4 point in trunk

Started gathering Parts


The build Began

The front end had alot of stonechips so i bought ctr headlights seibon cf hood and had the bumper lip and foglight covers painted. also relocated the license plate and shaved the tabs. and threw on an ep3 sir badge on the grill .




When the shell was sitting i had arc magic splitters on but then decided i wanted to keep the exterior simple so i got rid of them

I know i skipped alot of the in between stuff lol but the specs of the motor and car are
Built by graeme at cch and assembly drop in by amo and rick at nizztex
No ac no cruise control and just removed the power steering this past week

all new gaskets bearings and seals
knife edged and balanced crank
arias 12:1 compression pistons
eagle h beam rods
arp bolts all around
golden eagle vtec conversion kit
cometic head gasket
brand new itr timing belt and water pump

blox adjustable cam gears

motor held in by hasport mounts
tuned on an obd1 p28 on crome

Next year should have skunk2 proseries manifold on with 70 mm throttle body and hit the dyno again with some bigger injectors

i havent had any problems with the blox cams the car is making 215 whp and 147 torque, and thats without a good intake manifold and throttle body
next year goin for 240 + whp and the whole motor setup has about 6000 kms on it

Got a little update grabbed a few parts in the last little while latest purchase was these crazy bbs rims i was tryin to get a set of these for a while i think its gonna look unreal when the car goes lower let me know what you think

the sick thing about these rims is that the gold colour was only released in japan so they are very hard to come by, ive been lookin around for them for a while and finally came across a set
also picked up a skunk2 intake manifold and mishimoto oil cooler both for great prices gonna probly put these on in the new year once i get a throttle body
