Default Vtec?

is it possible to put the head of an 97 honda accord vtec solenoid on the lower half of a 94 accord vtec solenoid just to have a pressure switch or shuld i just try to find the hole solenoid all together.... im running my car wit the obd2 motor on the obd1 ecu but don feel the vtec and got a 22 code..

if you don't have the solenoid, no vtec.

36171-P0A-015 011 001 SOLENOID ASSY.
Is the same solenoid between '94-'97 F22B1 cars. You should be able to use the '97 solenoid on the '94 switch assembly.

However the lower assembly carries a different part number, possibly a different spool valve.
