205-45-16, or 215-40-16?

 

215 might be too wide if your car is slammed.

But wither way i would go with a 40 profile.....

 

My personal opinion would be the 205/40/16

That way you have fender clearance and the low profile look. But that's my 2 cents

Specially if you are running a 16x7 rim. The 215 would be too wide.

205-40-16 makes the wheels look tiny.. i rather have more rubber, than a overall small tire..

 

mine is actually 205-45-16...and look perfect...coz i u have 40 on 16's chances of u bending the wheels are big rather than getting 45's...u have more rubber for road clearance and smoother ride

 

voted for 205/45/16. Thanks is what I have and it is fine with me. With 215 your speedo will be more off too.

 

stick to the 205 45 16s. 215s are too wide and 40s are too skinny.

 

I voted 205/45/16.. thats what I have on my car which is lowered approx 2".. its pretty close to stock diameter so it won't throw your speedo off...abundant tire selection, doesn't rub a lot unless I'm doing really hard cornering or full lock to lock U turns...
