Flimsy Top!
The top of my 91 civic hatch is about as rigid as a kite. Is this normal? Driving down the road with a decent amount wind will cause it to buckle inward and then pop back out. Not sure if that's a good way to describe that, but basically I'm just complaining that it's so flimsy and would like to know if there are any common ways to fix that.
Thanks.

Thanks.
Previous owner changed the headliner. It's possible. I haven't really messed with the car too much as of yet, as it has only 66k miles and I've only had it for a month. Don't want to start messing with quite yet! But the roof thing is really bothering me. I guess tomorrow I'll take out the headliner and see what's underneath? Or what isn't?

Weld the supports back in?
Even with the supports, the EF roof really is pretty flimsy. But it shouldn't buckle in while driving on the freeway.
Take some pics of the roof with the headliner removed, I'd love to see this

Not that flimsy though. If you cant source replacement braces, taking some 2" wide flat bar and welding that in will solve the problem. An old customer of mine had an aftermarket sunroof installed and his roof was about as solid as a piece of paper. Bent them up to fit the contours and welded them in. Problem solved.
That rear support in the above pic looks to be your problem. It looks like it's pushed down
Then again, in your first picture, it looks like you have a rather large dent smack between the two supports. Once you get one of those large concave dents, they'll just dent in and out in and out over and over

my sedan is the same way the roof is flismy like that i checked the supports and they are good... i think the problem was that somebody jumped on the roof and then pushed it back out... but i think im going to find some better supports... i dont i think you should do the same
my hatch had the exact same issue. it was caused by some damage to the topi fixed it with some really thick glue.... hahah on mine whenever you would go between 55-60 mph is when it would do that when my speedo broke thats how i knew how fast i was movin hahah
