hi there name is allan im in need of some help ive been searching and searching and cant find anything about wiring up a jdm h23 vtec dizzy into a 00 accord that had a f23b engine but now has the jdm h23 vtec engine

so here is my problem every thing is done the swap and all im just stuck on this wiring up the dizzy im using the stock engine harness every thing worked out fine but pluging into the h23 dizy the engine harness is only a one plug with 4 wires to the factory f23 dizzy obd2b the h23 has two plugs 2 wires in one and 7 in the other its a 8 pin plug wit 7 wires the h23 dizzy is internal coil not external and i know about the ckp sensor on the obd2 at the oil pump im using a chiped p28 ecu its already converted so im looking for some that has done this wiring on this swap i need a diagram or pinout on how to wire the 4 wires from the factory f23b harness for the dizzy and the ckp to the h23 two plug dizzy can any one help thanks ill answer any question needed about the swap

 

dude iam having the same exact problem with wiring the distributor to and i need to find a belt to run the compressor but iam not sure what kind of car i need to ask for to get the right size and what year and make for my steering pump bracket do u know ??? some one please help me out

 

ok for dizzy best thing to do is depin ur old dizzy connector and wire up the same color wires into the connector and leave the rest of wires in stock connector and leave to the side. just color match what u have.

as for belts just try ur old belt 1st and judge if u need to go up a size or down. and just get belt # and go from there. l had to get like 2-3 belts up or down a size to get mine right

 

thanks man and u u know what steering wheel pump and bracket will fit the h23 vtec be cuz i got mines off a junk car a 97 prelude h23 non vtec and its does not fit at all

 

as long as u have h23 or h22 bracket ur accord ps will work.

same car u got the ps pump off of. 97 prelude then u can use either ps pump accord or prelude. but if u have a 4dr accord like me l used my accord pump cuz its bigger in size and l would think is built for the heavier car.

 

yea the brackets of the 97 is not fitting on the h23 vtec for some reason i know the pump will fit but i having issues with the brackets i dont know what make and modle car to get it off of

 

96 n up should be basically the same brackets h22 n h23 brackets should mate up with no probs. Double check ur bolt pattern n make sure ur lining up holes correct

 

got good news i got the brackey BUT iam still having problems with the distributor my car will not start i tried matching all the colors the thing is the h23 distributor connect have more colors then the atual f23 harness please help!

 

not totally positive on that yr accord but http://www.cd5tuner.com/vbb/showthre...?t=1043&page=6 this is the diagram l used. scroll down on page. ur wires should be similar not sure tho. if not then l suggest posting on 6th gen accord forum maybe they can help or have info on a sticky already

 

what kind of headers will fit my h23a vtec blue top? will a 97 up h22a headers and down pipe?

 

any yr vtec prelude header should work.

 

Hello Guys..m using H23A in Accord CA1 1988 model..my engine wiring is B16A EK model..n ECU m using P30..can mix 1 but then i dnt know ur workshop can do or not..

if using wiring from H23 mayb a bit messy..my dashborsd also i convert to EK..so my 1 consider JDM right?..H2B

 

hey do u know where i can get some valves for my h23 vtec blue top? i just burnt my 3rd valve and iam not sure if the h22 will valve will fit please help!

 

for sure the H22 cannot fit for H23 coz H23 valve is bigger then H22
so then look at ur budget..if can u can use after market SKUNK2 or BC (brian crower) or more or less find the titanium material..r u using any high cam?

 

iam not sure what iam using my 1 of my valves burnt out and i was seeing if i can get my friend to do it for me but wasnt sure wat valves and springs to get for it because my local shop want to charge me a thousand bucks to get it fixed but i think imma have to spend it cuz i dont really want the run arround... do u know what caused my valve to burn out after only driving it for 3 days? and what i can do to prevent it from happening again?

 

and what grade gas should i use too
