hood wont open!!

Default hood wont open!!
my hood release cable broke off on the actual hood release piece... how do i open my hood, im sure all u have to do is pull on the part were the cable came off of but i cant find the right one. please help

that cable runs through the inside of the drivers front fender u can pull it from there and that should do it

pull cable.

the cable isnt on the piece the makes ur hood pop.....

so you're saying that, the latch that's inside the car that allows you to open your hood isnt what makes your hood pop?

im sayin that it broke off on the piece under the hood, the cable is still attached on that plastic piece

same thing happened to mine if you reach up into your bumper and feel around the hood latch you will find the part it connects to. if you cant, push your hood down repeatedly you'll find it

i had that happen before, remove the bumper and look up underneath the hood. look at how it works and use a flathead to push the lock. this was done on a crx.
