i dont know what your asking, but yes some 95Ex's were equipped with a Rear disc/ABS system.

 

lol my bad, im asking if my 95 EJ1 came equipped with ABS. and it doesnt have rear discs so im assuming it doesnt?

This is how the Honda parts catalog lists the trims for 1992-1995 Civics sold in the US even.

This doesn't mean other trims didn't come standard with ABS, but it's pretty clear some did have ABS included.

Not really.

It's saying there were 1993-1995 EX coupes (without ABS) and there were 1994-1995 EX coupes with ABS.

So in other words, in 1993 the EX coupe never had ABS in the US but some 1994 EX and 1995 EX models did have it.

That simple.

 

ahh okay, i got that but i think mine is the one without, i looked in the fusebox for an ABS fuse and no luck.

 

When I was at a salvage yard the other day I saw a 5G Civic coupe with ABS. Didn't check under the hood (hood was off, no engine, but didn't pay much attention). I knew it had ABS because the rear rotor said it right on the hub section. Not sure if all the rotors say that though.

Like you mentioned though, there would be a fuse for it. I've never had a car with ABS (I think the Integra might have... but I hated that car and didn't pay much attention to it), so I've not familiarized myself with everything.

 

you can look under you hood and there should be a fusebox right in front of your passenger side shock tower, bright orange plugs next to it. like mine.(was)

 

yeah i looked in the fusebox already with no luck so i dont have ABS. ahh oh well, it kinda was a cause of an accident lol
tires locked up+wet roads+lane stopped= 20 mph rear end with no damage

 

you brakes are only as good as the tires you ride on.

 

to my knowledge the automatics came with ABS not the 5 speed, could be wrong though

 

Checked the parts catalog. Not sure where I'd gotten that one EX sedan (1992) not having ABS mentioned.

All '94 - '95 with factory rear discs had ABS, it wasn't available with drums until the '96 civic came out.
