Default damaging lug nuts =(

ive looked around a bit, and this may be a nooby question, but what can i use to remove lug nuts that wont scratch off the paint, my new 4 way eats the paint off

and so does a socket of the same size.. id love any help or work arounds to this, it happend to my rather cheap buddy club lugnuts but i want some more xpensive ones, but dont wanna ruin them.

oo thats a thought, i was hoping some one knew of a special tool, to help remove them, i mean with all the show cars and lug nuts costing $100+ dollars they gotta have a way to keep them nice

I always use zip loc bags. I have never scratched my Rays extended or Project Kics lugs. Just make sure to check if holes had been made to the zip loc bag each time you move onto the next lug nut.

harbor freight sells a set of the link above as well except with more sizes.

from the last thread that i read, they work and have heard no complaints
