Icon2 1994 civic.. zc block???

ok im new to this forum thing... i am confused though. my head gasket blew in #4 cylinder(wet spark plug). ok got that down. now the confused part. i went to set the motor at tdc on #1 but, the block does not have a plug where it should. the car has a zc sohc motor in it. ive looked and it seems there vtec. mine does not have the spool valve, instead a plate that has been siliconed there. any help will be appreciated..

You have a NON-vtec sohc zc that was carbureted. The block off is where the mechanical fuel pump goes.
