so Mike's lude will be at the sema show, followed by a mag shoot for a popular UK magazine so he called me to get rid of all the swirls and bring back the reflection to his recently painted mint green lude.. of course i agreed.. i woulda posted this in the detailing section, but nobody looks in there..sorry for the grainy bad pic quality.. my camera wasnt charged as usual so i had to use a little point n shoot kodak.
the car as it arrived.. very swirled..
the hood was the worst part on the car.

look at the difference between the sunroof and roof.. the whole car seemed to have this dullness about it.. i was glad i could bring it back. (sunroof is polished, roof isnt)

some swirls removed before wax shots..(in some pics it looks like haze or swirls around the flash reflection but its the reflection of my fingers..

covered in Swissvax Concorso

all wiped off, lookin good.

look at the trunk lid

hope you enjoyed.

I used a flex da. I didn't clay this one because the paint was actually smooth. Just needed to correct the bad finish job the body shop did. I polished it with a meguiars cutting pad and menzerna intensive polish followed by menzerna ff106 finishing polish on a white lake country polishing pad. Topped it off with Swissvax concorso.

I love menzerna. Ive been using it for 3
Or 4 years now. The 106ff stuff is Kinda blue gray. The intensive polish is white. It just leaves a lot of dust behind but its so easy to work with and the results are nice
