SLOW AS MOLASSES Non-baller DC build
If you're looking for a super, mad-tyte JDM as ****, high (over) priced Mugen/Spoon/whatever baller build, leave the thread now. I'm a full time student and the place where I worked recently closed, so progress will be very slow, and a baller-on-a-budget build.
With that disclaimer said, I picked up a 1997 Acura Integra RS a couple weeks ago. It isn't my first Honda. A couple years ago I had a 1992 Civic CX hatch, but it needed way too much work than I originally realized and ended up selling it. I've always had a passion for these cars and hopefully this one will turn out the way I envision it.
Current mods that were already done to the car are a generic intake, aftermarket 4-1 header (brand unknown), and a straight custom exhaust piping to a carbon wrapped, N1 style exhaust canister. The previous owner says the car is lowered slightly, but I think it may just be cut springs and I'll be looking into getting a better suspension as soon as it's possible. The car desperately needs new wheels.
Since money is tight, right now I'm just doing basic clean up and some cheap aftermarket things. I bought a wink mirror... more because I'm an artist and wanted to experiment with decorating it. Also bought a plug from Acura for the rear wiper, the previous owner just had duct tape covering the hole. I also replaced the bumper and fender bolts with nice and shiny new bolts and washers, and resorted the headlights with a 3M kit. The fenders aren't lining up so well, so I'm fabricating some new hardware for them. The engine bay is a mess of wires, which needs to be addressed. The main goal now is getting the car through emissions.
Now on with the pictures:

Here's a couple videos... I'm having some issues with the idle.

Ya looks like a great base to start a build off of. Grab some Integra seats also
As for that scary wiring!
You can get some heat shrink tubing and expandable sleeving to clean it up and make it a bit safer for relatively cheap on ebay.

Super clean body to start with!, Are those prelude seats?! Never sat in cloth ones but the leather ones are comfortable as hell. Is the sketchy wires all over the place for an HID setup or something?
Yes, the wiring will be one of the first things addressed... I especially don't like how it's hanging about .5 inches over the timing belt. Thanks for all the kind comments.

RS right? need to get rid of that moon roof switch lol
The 94 front is kinda odd with the 01 rear as well.
looks like a good start, rs's are a tad rare.

nice find bro, take your time with the project. they never get done over night, it takes along time. overall the condition of the car look very nice, and the interior looks good for a car that age and that art on the wink mirror look bad *** . KEEP IT UP !!!
Thanks man, I appreciate it. I still have a lot to do on the mirror ;-)
