Default 96 Spec ITR vs. 98 Spec ITR Wheel Bearings

Will the 98 Spec (5 lug) ITR front wheel bearings work with the 96 Spec (4 lug) ITR hub?

The 98 spec uses the CRV wheel bearings, while the 96 spec uses normal Integra/Civic wheel bearings.

Ok so I ordered 44300-S5A-004 wheel bearings from hondapartsdeals.com and they sent me 44300-S5A-008 wheel bearings.

Having a hard time finding any info on here about that part number. Can anyone confirm that they did sent me the right bearings?

Most likely the same part but different manufacturer.

Used google (google ftw!) and found this response below:

"I don't know where you're getting parts from, but all of the wheel bearings I have for '94-01 Integra are 79mm, not 78 . . .

'94-01 Integra uses the same front wheel bearing as a '92-00 Civic EX (part no. 44300-S04-A02) and all '01-05 Civics (part no. 44300-S5A-008), so you may want to try at Honda instead of Acura."

Looks like I got the right bearings :D

It has NTN in brackets next to the description so you may be right.

it's because honda will discontinue and PN because of changing manufactor or changing the part so they give a new replacement number at Honda we call it "superseeded part number" no biggie though
