Tonight I went and checked out a pair of OEM optional side skirts and rear valences that are for sale locally. Both rear valences have the two mounting brackets, but they're each missing the other little piece (at the top in the pic). The tabs in the plastic are still there and aren't damaged; theres just no hardware. My questions are what goes there, and how hard are they to find or replicate? It may be something real simple, but I've never handled another set in person, so I have no comparisons to draw upon. Other than that, all pieces are in good shape with no blemishes that fresh paint wouldn't take care of. They're listed for what sounds like a pretty fair price, but I wanted to know exactly how easy or difficult it will be to fix those pieces before I make an offer. Thanks in advance!
Most used valences won't come with hardware. Basically what goes there is a bolt with a square head. I made my own. I just used a dremel to shave down the head of a bolt so it fit in the slot. You'll need to drill a hole in the bumper of course and stick a nut on the inside.

Follow-up question... is $450 a good price for the full set? All tabs and brackets intact (other than the fore mentioned), no cracks, scrapes, or gouges. Just fresh paint.

It might actually be a better idea NOT to use that bolt location and instead drill a hole for a bolt on the underside of the valence (and underside of the bumper). Then if you ever remove the valences there will be no visible holes in the bumper.

The original position of the valences should be lower than your rear bumper. And not hugging the rear bumper.
How much is it worth to you? I got my lip/sides/rears for $300 from Radley Acura back in the day. $450 is a great price compared to some of the $6-800 prices I have seen.
