Do HPDE go towards race license?
I think i remembering SCCA requires 2 schools(????) to aquire a regional license? but, do HPDEs go towards a race license for NASA?

If you go to the National site, it will give you a overview of what is expected to get a NASA race license.
HPDEs count in the fact that they indicate that you are not new to driving on a track, and that you've learned some driving techniques. Obviously the more track time - and in advanced groups either with NASA or other clubs is going to be influential.
Some regions offer competition schools. Sometimes you may be "observed" in an advanced group to see your skill level. You would have to contact the particular region you are in for further details.
