If you do not have a wideband oxygen sensor gauge to monitor your air fuel ratios, don't even bother starting the car on a basemap. Tow the car to your Hondata tuner.

If you do have a wideband, contact your tuner for a base calibration he sees fit to run your setup on.

yes i do have a wideband, also it will have to be crunk up to have the wideband working will it be safe to crank it not knowing what the original tune was and risking washing the cylinders down. Just want to be extra safe and to do it all right ill be the one driving my friend which does his own tuning and all will be the one doing it but he is not all familiar with the hondata setup and wants to have the program at a base map and i dont want my walls washed down lol. Thanks

Upload a base calibration that is for a similar engine: ie: b18c1 gsr, setup your fuel trim to your injector size and upload to the s300. This should get you in the ball park to startup on. Your engine will probably die before it runs so rich that it washes out the cylinders. If you are at all hesitant, tow it to your Hondata dealer and have them do the initial basemap and startup.
