i have a 1988 crx si with a b18a1in it. after driving it for about 15 minutes it starts to sputter, but anything after 4000rpm its like it was never there. i replaced the fpr, but no results. any ideas

 

also after getting on the throttle real hard.

 

are the plug wires new? make sure their not messed up and make sure their on all the way i just had the same problem and new wires fixed it..

 

Kinda have the same problem it feels like vtec at 4k rpm on a non v motor.

 

It's a spark related problem. Start with the easy stuff. buy some plugs, wires, cap and a new rotor. If that doesn't fix it then start at the dizzy with the ignitor and the coil. It's all a process of elimination man.
