**SAme No START PROBLEM H23a1~~~>
alright well my vehicle is a '96 si 4th gen. h23a1.
blew my engine, found another h23a1 but from a '93.
so obviously i had to switch out parts from the "old" one to the "new" one.
basicly i went from obd2 to obd1 but swapped all the sensors and misc. parts to make the obd1 an obd2 since i'm still using the obd2 wiring harness.
but before all the swapping i tryed the whole internal coil distributor rewiring in place of the oil pump sensors.
i got it to start and idle this way for a bit, but i got fed up dealing with it not running properly so i ended up doing the oil pump with the sensors and made everythigng else just like it was on the original engine.
now i have the external distributor, but i wasn't getting spark so i assumed it was the coil.
so i opted to get an MSD Blaster SS. still no spark.
i resoldered the main relay due to my fuel not pumping (which it is now) i have checked all the fuses and grounds(esp. the thermostat housing ground)
and i still am not getting any power to the coil it seems.
any help is greatly appreciated as i dont have a vehicle and i need to get my rear in gear for work.
