ITR Crank-Pulley Questions/Alternator Bracket Questions.
Heres the verdict. I'm putting my 98 back together with my JDM 96 spec ITR longblock. I sold off my USDM 'sleeved' turbo B18c5 motor but kept the crank-pulleys I had for it.
Now. I bought the 96 spec from Steve at HMO about 3 years ago. It came with a cracked crank pulley and I believe I got another one at some point in time.
When I put it back together though. I have 3 crank pulleys with no real markings or anything on them. They 'fit' and two have the EXACT same sizing. One has little holes drilled in them.
Here is my question now.
Does anyone have pictures of what the different year B18c and B18c5 motors had crank pulley wise? Kinda curious.
Also with all of the switching of motors I've acquired a pile of alternator brackets. Most being the usual cast piece while a couple being thing steel looking brackets.
Any have the brackets or 'code' that came on their motor? Pictures prefer'd.
Once I get this thing together. All this extra **** is going 'byebye'.
Thank you for your time.

So far what I've came up with is...
a friend of mine's stock 01 ITR has a crank pully with the same sizing and small holes pre-drilled into his aswell.
The altenator bracket is a cast piece upper and lower.
And USDM motors came with the alumnium underside bracing?

sounds right, the drilled holes if from honda to balance the pulley. I remember top and bottom being cast though.
pic shows the same

"And USDM motors came with the alumnium underside bracing?"
which part do you mean
did you swap the crank angle sensor and oil pump?
if your going to run stock ecu you will get a code or you can bypass it if you must

I was just curious as to which brackets were which.
The part I mean is the brace that replaces the two L brackets that support the motor/transmission together.
(edit* thanks for the response though
)
I'm assuming that's brand new? Not the best picture of the inside of the crank pully but I appreciate the insight.
