2008 Honda Element
215-70-16 is the stock size
Goodyear Wrangler HP are the OE Tire
Experience with OE Tire: From reviews it seems that the original tires are pretty crappy. My only real complaint is they are downright deadly in the rain. Other than that I got about 40k out of the set which is pretty good.
What I am looking for: I live in the northeast so an all season tire. We don't get really bad winters and the snow performance of the OE tires was adequate for me. I would like quiet, smooth ride, low rolling resistance, lightweight, long treadlife, and cheaper is better. Obviously those are just guides and I know I cant get all of that. Performance on the dry and snow should be as good as the OE which I dont think should be that hard to get and I would like better wet performance. Dry performance is not really a factor. I am driving an Element not a corvette.
Was looking at these two but leaning towards the Yokohama:
Yokohama AVID TOURING-S (Standard Touring All-Season)
Kumho Road Venture APT KL51 (Highway All-Season)

Check out the Michelin LTX M/S. I have them on one of my trucks and I love them. Smooth, quiet, full depth tread sipes, and they do great in snow. Unfortunately, the M/S 2s are not yet available in the size you require but the original version is great.
