I have an obd1 jdm h22a in a 94 eg hatch. couple weeks back my battery light would flicker at any rpm except idle. so i took my alternator to vatozone and they said it was bad. I had warranty on it so i got another one for free, and bought 6ft of 6 gauge wire. replaced the alternator wire, and alternator. belt is new, and tension is fine. replaced all last week. yesterday, i started my car, everything fine. gave alittle gas to reverse noticed that the battery light was flickering, so i turned off my car, checked everything. started it again. started to drive and would be fine from idle to vtec. everytime i revved the motor past 5k the light would come on. now when i give gas the light doesn't flicker, it's when i let go of the gas the battery light comes on. so i have no idea what could be the problem. any help is greatly appreciated. btw i have a dmm and voltage is fine. disconnected the positive cable when car on and car stays on so i don't think it's the alternator.
