yea i just realized the rear strut bar was jdm only but thanks for the clarification and help. i found the **** from a honda parts site for $48+ shipping and i found the bar for $185 shipped. i'm gonna see if i can do any better than that
thats what i was thinking. there's one on ebay now for like $437 shipped ha i was like damn! so the bar is pretty rare?
i see i see. i was mainly looking on sites that sell used jdm parts and all but one of the sites is sold out. and the bar has been discontinued so i wasnt sure about rarity. i appreciate everyone's help and i asked jdmscg what he wants for his bar but no response yet..

I have the Mugen solid 1 peice bar and it certianly tightens up the rear and promotes a bit of over steer. I took it off and couldn't stand the way the car felt anymore. Only downside to this bar is you have to cut the rear panels. With the OEM bar the mounts look very weak and flimsy IMO, so as Todd00 said, you probably wouldn't feel it.
ehhh...would much rather get a weighted shift ****. skunk2 is like $50, same price as the faux CF one and works too, not just for looks.
The faux CF shift **** was actually designed for the GSR. It was marketed as "inferior" to the leather w/red stitching OEM ITR **** and later the aluminum 00' ITR ****.
lol @ the OEM tape player. I actually had that in my 97 GSR. Dealership said I could have it for $40 when I bought the car new in 97, so I jumped on it. Don't think I ever used it, though.

the bar and **** will be for looks mainly. they place where i found the bar come with the two factory filler pieces but you would have to do a damn good cutting and glueing job to make it look clean
i thought the rear panels were different between jdm and usdm.. thats why i thought the two filler pieces that came with the strut bar wouldnt fit
Since where on the topic, Can any tell if these are real or fake? I have heard that some have the silver washers and some don't. On NWP for sale threads there are some w/silver washer and again some that don't. My brother would be getting them for me so I can't inspect them first hand.
