How is the quality of hifonic subwoofers?

I am looking into the B10SQD4

* RMS Power Range : 500 Watts
* Peak Power Handling: 1000 Watts
* Impedance: Dual 4 Ohm
* Diameter: 10 Inch

 

I've only heard the hfi version..they were in a 4th order bandpass and kinda impressed me. the other was in a low tuned ported and sounded ok for what it was..

Besides that, i'd stay away..

 

Its a decient sub. Not bad for the price. I have one here if you would like to come by and try it for yourself.

 

im sure it will make plenty of bass. there are better options for sure if clarity interests you.

 

well honestly the only reason why i am asking is because i found a decent deal on 2 brand new 10" and a sealed box for $100
