I would like to pressure test my new engine before I install it. How can I jump start the starter to pressure text the engine? I ran booster cables to my original starter (that works) and nothing happened. Thanks!

 

I assume you mean compression test the cylinders. If you wire the small starter wire directly to the battery, the engine should crank.
