Championship White paint code VARIATIONS?
So as long as I've known the Championship White from Honda is NH-0(zero). So I'm trying to get my factory R wheels reconditioned. And there is some confusion as to the company going to refinish my wheels. She is saying that the NH-0 paint code is not enough info to get the correct color. From her understanding and her paint suppliers understanding there are four variations, "Four popular white colors (championship) are NH-O 538, 578, 624P and 677." I replied by email and said that the code on the door jam is NH-0, no more no less.
Anyone out there heard of these other variations? Thanks in advance!

it's NH-0 (zero), not NH-O

I googled NH-0 and found it under the 98 Integra color code list.
When a shop is mixing a paint color the formula will list variations, for example the dark gray color or the newer corolla has about 8 variations. Basically different tints and shades that are subtle but if you say painted a fender and put it on you would see a difference in light between it and the adjacent panels.
This is why shops blend into adjacent panels because even with the car there or a paint sample to match it up there are still slight changes.
And no dealers dont have premixed CW
As far as Rims if its painted CW your not going to see the variance in them to the other panels unless the shop really sucks at following the mixing amounts when mixing the paint.
