integra type R valve covers what are the markings
I've got an integra type R valve cover on the underside of the valve cover are they marked P61 or are they marked with another number
It looks great came in what looks to be honda oem plastic and definently came in the oem box but I just want to make sure it's for the type R
looks like there is some red powdercoat on the underside almost looks like overspray made me wonder a little bit I haven't known honda to send out parts that aren't perfect. Advise please thanks.

cameras broke I did compare it to a gsr valve cover looks like the coating on this one has allot more wrinkles I dunno if that helps.
The plastic is definently the factory type plastic didn't have any honda tags on the plastic I dunno if it's supposed too. I'm sure someone owns a type R integra and knows what the markings are under the valve cover.
It would be easier if you just took a picture.
B16/B17 Valve Cover = DOHC larger than VTEC
JDM Valve Cover = VTEC larger than DOHC
USDM B18C Valve Cover = No "H"

DOHC is larger then Vtec on the bottom it says honda motor company on the underneath of the valve cover it says p61 could this be a civiv type R valve cover or did someone probably paint it red.

thanks for your help with this by the way I didn't really know how to tell the fakes from the real ones so I got it from the highest rated honda parts seller on ebay taking my chances now I am 100 percent sure it's real I'm glad I bought it for the price.
do you know what those mirrors are called that they use in racing that go the entire length of the winshield. They use them instead of side mirrors you take out your sun visors and replace it with a wide mirror.
Jesus...now we're identifying valve covers. Did you not read the auction in which you bought it from?
It clearly states that it is an OEM part. Why was there any doubt?
