Icon2 Changing headgasket

Well, I got some DC Headers for my EF about 2 months ago and I never replaced the headgasket when I had them put in. How easy would it be to put a new headgasket? Can I just loosen up the headers and pull back the headers slightly and put the new one in? The reason I want to change them because it sounds like I have an exhaust leak.

And which one exactly would I need to buy? I have a 89 with a stock SOHC 1.5

head gasket and exhaust manifold gasket are two different things

Your exhaust manifold gasket goes inbetween the header and the cylinder head.

Head gasket goes inbetween the cylinder head and the block of the motor.

If your having a exhaust manifold gasket leak, its very simple to fix, just take off the bolts and pull the header back put new gasket on and put the header back on then re apply the nuts torque them down to the correct specs.
