Default What's the safest amount to bore an f22?

f22 has stock 85mm bore

f23 - 86mm

h23/h22 - 87mm

The block I'm using has about 160,000 miles on it and it's lost some compression. I want to have it bored and get new pistons. I'm using h23/f22 rods but I'm not sure about the pistons. I was thinking f23 or maybe trying to find some high compression aftermarket f22 pistons. I don't want the walls too thin, though. What do you guys think?

1mm over. Then the block will need to be sleeved.

.25mm over OEM pistons are available from the dealer for cheap. That's all you need for a fresh rebuild.
