Who followed the June SCC article for pin location on MPFI swap and realized it was wrong?
Here's the deal. I've been streeing myself trying to figure out what I did wrong on the wiring. I follewed the SCC article wiring diagrams, and the have the pins listed like this:
A PLUG B PLUG C PLUG
1 3 5 7 8 11 13 15 1 3 5 7 9 11 13 15 17 19 1 3 5 7 9 11 13 15
2 4 6 8 10 12 14 16 2 4 6 8 10 12 14 16 18 20 2 4 6 8 10 12 14 16
Now when I follow my Chiltons wiring diagram it goes like this:

9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16
Basically, instead of pin # 1 being above pin #2, it should be pin #1 and right next to it pin #2,3,4,5 and so on. The book even has the color codes for each wire at the pins. Following the book, the SCC article on pg. 260 of the june 2002 article is wrong. Does anyone else agree with this?

And maybe I'm wrong, but the HASports website, it looks like they got a couple of wires wrong too. This sucks.

i read the whole atricle and realized it was completely wrong. i love how they leave out the fact you need an si ecu and a si dizzy

So, SCC was wrong in how they have the pin loctions st up? Because from what I just read of your post, i sounded like you justsaid to do it how t'soutlined on that page. The chliton's actually has it color of wire to pin #. That's ow I have been reading it. I might just have to pay money to someone else to fix it if I can't get this figured out

i didnt like anything about the scc mag. thought their right up sucked and made things way harder than what they are. just folow kenjis write up. he gives wire colors and pin #s. if you count to c10 and its hot pink instead of flamming *** yellow look for the flamming *** yellow nearby and thats the c10 that the write up talks about

Hehe, maybe thats why a kid i know cant never get his **** running, he used the scc article, what a joke.
Thanks guys. I just picked up a noid light o test the injectors and an ohm meter. Hopefully Ill get it running after I test a few things.

There is power to the injectors now!!The engines jumping around!! But ****, there is a lot of fuel in th cylinders. Should I pull the plugs and let it al evaporate first?
