putting JDM F22B into CB7. couple of issues.
first of all, i didnt know this swap would be this involved.
modify throttle cable bracket
modify AT throttle control cable
different header
swap and grind down engine mount post (most fun part. gotta remove crank pulley bolt!)
modification of vacuum lines
different EGR plug -> cut and wire in
and im still not done. ive got a few questions that hopefully somebody that has mercy and experience would answer:
1) i need a pinout of the ECU harness. ive gone by some information in these write ups:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=26733
http://cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=118444
and one guy says to swap pins A6 and A11. what i saw, was #1, A6 is a larger type pin and A11 is the smaller type, no way in hell to swap without cutting, and #2 A11 turns out to be a pink wire that goes to an 'air suction control solenoid valve'. whatever the hell that is.
so does anything need to be swapped around?? im using P0A ecu.
2) this black control box mounted on the firewall near the fuse box. i took the MAP sensor out of it, is the rest just emissions stuff or not?

this is the engine i'm dealing with.

Ok that is not a jdm f22b, the jdm f22b for the accord is a dohc motor, you have what appears to be either a late model f22b2 or maybe even a f23, also what year accord are you putting this into?

This could be your F22B1 as in under 60,000 miles JDM. The F22B2 didn't have VTEC. The F22B is the dual overhead.
I thought these things were supposed to bolt right in once you mix and match the mounts.

jesus christ.. im not arguing what engine i have..
does anyone have the information i've requested or know where i can get the information requested?

The pink wire you refer to should be going from pin A17 to the IAB solenoid (air suction thing is the intake air bypass system)
What ECU are you using for the swap? (OBD1 P0B, OBD2 or JDM ECU)
If you don't know what your talking about please don't post. You have to realize that there are 3 JDM F22B engines. The JDM models don't use the 5th & 6th digits in the engine codes like the USDM ones do. Therefore there are 3 variants of the JDM F22B engine.
SOHC Non VTEC JDM F22B = USDM F22B2
SOHC VTEC JDM F22B = USDM F22B1
DOHC Non VTEC JDM F22B = No USDM equivalent.

this engine is the SOHC VTEC JDM F22 = F22B1.
any info on the pinouts?
The obd1 P0A pin outs are on page 9 of the Accord 1996 Wire Diagrams By Mitchell PDF. You will find it listed on that link that I PM'd you. Once you unzip it, it is actually the diagrams for the 94-95.
The OBD2 P0A pin outs are on page 17 of the 1997 Wire diagrams by Mitchell PDF.
