Default Weak defrost : BB6 prelude

It takes forever to defrost the back window, everything was unplugged when I got the car and I plugged everything back...but it doesn't seem right to have to wait 20 min for it to start melting frost. Is there a fuse/wires I can check?

worn out element most likely. I would just look into getting a new rear window. If the voltage is alright and the wires are fine your next step is replacing the rear window since the element is built in.

Rear window has tint on it if it makes any difference...it's a high quality job though.

Mine didn't even begin to melt the frost this morning until 15 min into my drive.

Both my 20 year old EF's had a defrost that worked fine, one had 220k miles on it and original rear window. Worn out as in too old?
