Default Tigra has done 10.14 @ 145

Getting really close to the 9's now! The car is now 2nd fastest FWD in the country (EP3 Civic is 1st - 9.93) - we are out the weekend after next though so hope to crack a 9 finally!

Well seeing as you all asked so nicely...

Spec is: Standard crank, steel rods, low comp pistons, head work, Piper cams with double valve springs and solid lifters, custom inlet and exhaust manifolds, GT35/82 (.63), n onitrous and standard pump fuel (Shell V Power) - currently 604.6bhp & 495lb ft @ flywheel (Dyno Dynamics rollers)

Old pics!

And the obligatory smokey shot...

Thinking of changing over to a Precision 6262 for next year - anybody got any comments on that?

dayum!!!

2.0l vauxhall on a GT35 on pump gas making 604.6 flywheel bhp (515ish whp?)

but only 604.6 flywheel bhp (515ish whp?) and running a 10.1 is insane

what's the weight of the tigra? using fuel additives??

Yep car is 515 at wheels. Weighs 960kg with driver... We have had a lot of traction problems with the car as the track prep over here is 'hit and miss' at best!
No fuel additives are used! Stick it in a can and stick it in the car!

Thanks for your comments!

Congratulations and great to see what a vehicle at that weight and at 510whp on a Dyno Dynamics (same one we use) can go that fast down the 1320.

I knew that plus 500whp on a DD was capable of easy 10s. Keep going man! Hope you hit the 9s.

Hey what octane is the stuff in UK I think last time was in London, was it not 98RON?

Our regular unleaded is 95 but the super ranges from 97-100 ron. There are a few b.p stations close to major circuits that also sell 103
