Default oil breather cap?

on my build could i get away with increasing the stock breather tube diameter and getting an oil cap breather in addition?

instead of tapping the valve cover.
something like this maybe

This was just an example. I was asking if it would be sufficient for my build instead of going with a catch can and tapping the valve cover
