This is for All You ACT users Beware!!!!
had this ACT Extreme Clutch on my 98 prelude.
Making 310HP with 317 pounds of torque.

Dont know what the heck happen but it just made me loss confidence in ACT. I will never buy an ACT clutch again..
replacing it with competiton clutch stage 4.

ACT Extreme suppose to be top of the line

ACT heavy duty
then regular ACT
i just dont want to risk with ACT again.
i just lost my confidence becuase this almost f-up my motor and tranny.

and i cant tell if the throw out bearing is act or oem. a performance shop installed my clutch for me. im sure they would know better, and they didnt put loctite on my flywheel.
as you can see from the picture on the flywheel, the bolts came loose and scratched up against the center of the clutch bolts

Loctite shouldn't be necessary as I haven't ever used it on any flywheels I've installed. If the bolts backed out then they must not have been tight enough. From the looks of the pressure plate it looks pretty old. When was the clutch assembly installed and how many miles were put on it?
