Precision 6265 .63 a/r or 6262 .82 a/r for D16??
Hi, I am new to the forum.
My goal is to reach 550 hp, but I want to know which of the two turbines would work best for me. Precision 6265 with .63a/r housing or 6262 with
.82a/r housing. Which of the two would help me reach my goal with less pounds of boost, and which of the two will have more spool and less turbo lag?
I have almost everything, I lack the turbine, the clutch and the camshaft. The project is for street and track.
Any suggestions would be welcome, Thanks

The 5857 wil give great results im sure. for the cam, go with the bisi cam lvl2. best cams ive tested over crower, zex/comp cams

What is happening is that these turbines are a few friends and they are going to sell. I'm going to buy one of the two, but I do not know what would work best in my engine. So I ask you some tips.
The civic is for street but when you run go to the track.

As has been said, the 5557 or 5857 is a much better choice for 95% of the D builds out there. The 6262 or 6265 works fine but the powerband is definitely lacking for a street driven car, fine for a drag car.
When someone posts I made 545hp on SOHC in a thread like this, that makes the OP go get one...and then he is VERY disappointed when he cars feels like an absolute slug below 7000 rpms and only spins tires above that...which of course doesnt make for a very good street car at all.
