Default D16 Turbo Choices input needed, 275-300 HP Goal

Hello

I am at the point where I need to start looking for a turbo for a d16z6 setup. With a hp goal of 250-300 HP. Now the obvious choices out there are a T3 Super 60 and a t3t4 50 trim (sc50). From the research i've done a T3 Super 60 is the perfect choice for the d16, but might not meet my power goals. The SC50 on the other hand will be more than a enough, but might be more lag then I would prefer.

I was looking at innovative's site and I noticed they make 40(SH40) and 46(SH46) trim turbos. Which might be able to offer a compromise between the T3 super 60 & a t3t4 50trim?

From what i've read innovative is a great company and I always hear alot about their SC61 killer. Just wondering if anyone has any input on these turbos, and if they would be a better choice then the other turbos mentioned?

Thanks in adanvce

I like my SC50 .63ar but if you prefer a turbo with less lag go with the .48ar

i got a built d16z6 with a t3/t04e 60 trim w/ .48 ar on hot side.
I get 12 lbs by 4-4.5k with a mbc hooked up. 20lbs by 5k if that. looks too big for the engine, but if freaking rocks. hits like a ton of bricks

I agree with yellowturbo. The SC50 is perfect for your goal and should still have a little room to grow.
