Default random misfire

OK, I have a 98 ITR and i have a random misfire that happens every now and then and i cant figure it out. I replaced plugs, wires, and dizzy. Has anybody had this problem before that can put some insight on this issue to help me narrow it down. Thanks

I have a 2001 with the same problem and have replaced all of the above as well. For the last year I just ignore it and clear the CEL when it comes on. My only hunch is it may have somethng to do with the Crank Fluctuation Sensor down by the crank pulley. It may have shifted slightly after doing my timing belt because that is when the random misfire started and the CFS can effect timing. I've just been to lazy to take the timing belt cover off to inspect it.

Well all I get is a CEL. My car doesn't actually start misfiring lol. I forget the code number but there is a "Random Cylinder Misfire" CEL. However, the car drives just fine and you can't notice a thing. If your car is actually sputtering and misfiring then You need to cover the basics which include spark and fuel. Since you have already covered plugs, wires, and a new dist. Then I would now check injectors, fuel filter, and fuel pump.

Also, clean your ground points up. Being a '98 they might be coroded.

What happens is sometimes when I start it up it will start misfiring then after a min. It will run fine for a bit. It's weird!! I just can't pin point were the problem is coming from.
