I've checked the normal resources, but I can't figure this problem out, so bear with me.

I'm trying to adjust the timing on my 1994 VX. All the resources I've checked say to jump a simple connection under the passenger dash. I can't find this connection though- I was jumping the blower motor, but after a lot of smoke, I figured that wasn't the correct connection:

I've taken some pictures of the location I'm looking at. If someone could be kind enough to point out what I'm missing, that'd be great.

I think that last connection is suppose to be connected to this, but I'm not sure. Right now it's hanging loose.

it's the 2 wire blue connector you have pictured.

 

^Yep, it's inserted in the green rubber holder in the last picture. Click the CEL sticky at the top of the forum.

 

The one with the black and yellow wires coming out it?

 

I ask because everything I've read mentions a tan and green wire, and the one in the picture is a black and yellow wire.
