Hey I have a 95 civic ex coupe with a 2000 integra b18b motor once it is warm it will stop but when cold rev's from 1000 rpms to 3500 rpms i think it is the idle air control valve but thats just me. Anyone have experiance with this systom on the same engine?

 

fast idle thermal valve controls cold idle, and the iacv regulates warm idle.

Also clean the IACV and bleed the cooling system. Any CEL codes?

 

it either that or fitv but im not sure if ur motor has that if it does its right under ur tb clean ur iacv and if u have it take the fitv off open it and close the plunger all the way. that worked for me but i have a b16 head on a b18c block

 

Mine does the same thing but mine only jumps to about ~2grand no where near 3500.

 

I cleaned all of those now instead of jumping around now it just jumps up to 2500 toms then when it gets warm it dies to 1000rpms

 

mine does the same thing, i unplug the TPS and it stops for the most part, is it the IACV? has cleaning it up fixed the issue for anyone?

Thank you for everyones help. It was the thermal valve under my intake cleaned it out put it all the way down now it purss when started cold or hot! THANKS TO ALL!
