N00b question

Default N00b question

Im trying to remove the rear strut but the bolts are completely stuck. Ive been spraying wd40 on it all day but it just wont move. Suggestions?

Well for starters WD-40 isnt a penetrating lubricant so that will do nothing but let your wrenches and sockets slip easier on the bolt. Try spraying it with PB Blaster and let it sit for a day or so. After that, if you don't have air tools just remember that leverage is your friend. Don't try to use a 3/8 ratchet on something this stuck. You'll get no where. Use at least a 1/2 in breaker bar and if it still wont budge then put some length on it.

Yeah I was noticing that. Time for a breaker bar and pb blaster if not I'm going with the big boys and bringing the torch out lol.

pb blaster its the best penetrating oil ever, and i think a day with that on it would probably make it shine again, use it it works
