Default stock exhaust bolts

i've not have any of my stock bolts with the spring inside of it and my current exhaust is held by bolts from homedepot and a nut/washer tightene dto the other side

would this be ok with putting back a stock gsr exhaust ? does anyone remember if there were any donut rings or any gaskets of sorts to use on the stock exhaust?

thanks

You don't have to get the OEM blots with their springs.
The home depot bolts will, someday have to be cut off, because of rust. You could have gone to a regular hardware store and bought stainless steel stuff and avoided the rust.

Starting at the point:
Where the header meets the cate, you will need a 2" donut.
Where the cate meets the 'B' pipe, you will need a 2" gasket with 3 bolt holes.
Where the 'B' pipe meets the axle-back, you will need a 2" donut.

These parts are alot cheaper at the local auto parts store, than at the dealer.

argh i need a 2" donut, i'll go look at an autozone or something. i already have a gasket for 3 bolt holes but its probably bigger than 2" would that work?

and the bolts from home depot are stainless steel

jw but i have a complete oem type r exhaust (manifold to exhaust) would the local auto parts store have the gasket for them considering them being 2.25?

would the 2'' donut/gasket fit on or no?

Putting a 2" donut would be like sticking a piece on 2" pipe on there, which would cause restriction

They make all diffrent size donut gaskets just go ask for a 2 and a quarter one

I've never used rust converter on a exhaust but you could use a wire wheel to get the rust off and put a coat of paint.

Labor? Alls you do is hold a pipe to a spinning wheel lol

Its doesn't exactly convert rust it just primer that coats and covers it, but like I said I dunno if its good to have on a exhaust, the heat cause cause fumes or a smell, and it might crack the primer
