Clutch issues
So I just had my R serviced for 180K service, and the clutch disk, pressure plate, release bearing and pilot bearing replaced. Did not replace the flywheel, I thought I could get away without replacing it, but it turns out it has hot spots, and now I have a terrible stuttering when first moving in 1st gear, or if I tranny brake to come to a stop. Gonna replace it next week or so, but hopefully that bad f-wheel isnt the cause of the cricket sound.
Previously, the tranny was giving off a bird chirping/cricket sound. But when you apply the slightest pressure on the pedal, the sound goes away. From what I was told, its the release bearing needed to be replaced. It has been replaced, but the sound is still there, but just not as loud as it used to be. A Honda tech told my friend who did the work (a Mazda tech), that there has been problems with the release bearings from Honda, not sure how valid that is, but I thought I would mention it. Anyone have any ideas on the cause? The previous setup was ACT prolite fw, HDSS clutch disk, and pressure plate, The previous release bearing was a cheapy one that came with the ACT clutch package. Now I have all honda clutch disk and pressure plate, and I ordered a honda fw for replacement.
Possible pedal adjustment? who knows? I need help from my HT peoples!!
Thanks for any input! Much appreciated!

Hey hksitr, I'm not as knowledgeable as alot of people on here, excuse my ignorance!
But where is the input shaft and that bearing you mention? is it within the tranny? I'm just trying to find the part on acuraoemparts.com so that I could see the cost and possibly order it, and to also see how much work it'll take for my mechanic to put it in. Thanks for your help, I really hope this is the solution to my annoying problem!

Anyone know of a reputable and trustworthy transmission shop in Northern VA? May just bring it to them and let them swap out the flywheel and put in a new input shaft bearing. Anyone else have suggestions on other parts I should swap out while its opened up?

UPDATE:
It was the slave cylinder rubbing on the release fork. I just added some high temp urea grease, and VOILA, no more crickets! I went ahead and replaced the slave cylinder and release fork since I couldnt return them for a refund to acuraoem.
