knocking when i get up to speed... help me
Got my dohc zc in And I have two brand new axles.. when I take off and get to around 20-25 mph I hear a knocking sound.. when I accel or slow down it does it.. its not a motor knock sounds llike an axle or something.. I tightened everything down.. axle nut, hub bolt, lca fork bolt, bar That goes from frame to hub, both axles are in all the way. And the trans shud be fine cuz I just had it on my a6 and my a6 overheated so I took it out and kept the trans. The tranny didn't do anything like that with a6 and it had older axles.. car has a new clutch as well. Can anyone help me out? Thanks

Might be a wheel bearing or tie rods. My friend just had the same problem and changed his tie rods. Still made knock sounds & when he would slow down it would shake & of course making knocking sounds. So it ende up being the wheel bearings. Hope this helps.
Rear trans mount is all tight and same w. The front one. The front rubber stuff is torn but the knocking deff to me feels like an axle knock not a shake like a lose mount... but they are brand new axles.. Hmm ill double check though.
Could it be the axle isn't pushed all the way in the trans? I would thnk that would knock or probly not drive at all for too long lol.. I've driven like two miles total as test runs.. idk ill double check all suspension parts and make sure everythings tight
