99 hatch/gsr swap - Won't Crank!

Default 99 hatch/gsr swap - Won't Crank!

Im have bing problems 2 . gsr into 99 ek hatch im using the b16 si harness and the si interior harness so i cud use the doors and the si ecu 4 now but the car wont crack wen i turn the ignition and pres the clutch the brake lite comes on and the check engine dos not go off and when i let go off the clutch pedal the brake lite gos off im so confuse can any one help me please i check old the ground wire's and sensor old so check the starer bet nothing i old so disconnect the starter 2 see if the wires wore bed bot it dos the same thing it wont crank everything works the power windows power locks cluster fuel pomp and the lites help please

a no crank is usually a pretty easy fix. is your battery good? are your fuses good?

the only other issue would be a short somewhere or a bad starter. try tapping the starter with a hammer then turning the key.

yes my battery is good and the fuses are good 2 and the tarter is OK what i don't understand is way dos the brake lite comes on when i pres the clutch pedal. the lite comes on Eben if the starter is not Eben connected it only comes on when i press the pedal

if your brake light comes on when you press the clutch, then there's obviously bad wiring somewhere between the two. see if you're clutch is wired to your break lights.. that could be why it's not starting either..

the brake switch is probably switched around wit the neutral safety switch that is on the clutch

^This is clearly your problem. Check again.
