Yes i know its ****ing retarded, but it has a D16Y7
OK, a little background on the car. I traded my 1992 Si hatch for a 99 EM1 [ yes true Si] at one point in it life somebody stripped it completely out and the next owner put a D16Y7 in her. when i got it, it ran perfectly fine, BUT it had an OBD2A 96-98 Engine harness and my tachometer / speedometer didnt work, so i found a 99 DX hatch in the junkyard as a donor car and Pulled the OBD2B 99-00Engine Harness, ECU, and Dizzy. Came home Pulled the 96-98 engine harness, ecu, and dizzy out, and put all the new stuff in. SWAPPED Coil, rotor, and cap out of old dizzy and put them in the new dizzy bc they were new. went to crank car and itll turn over but wont start. SO....this is where i could use some help?

You prolly should of left it alone. Your tach and speedo not working was prolly because it was the wrong speed sensor and the fuse under the dash was blown make sure you have the ground wire that attaches to the thermostat is connected thats the ground for your injectors and ecu

The tach should work now but the speedo is a separate problem.

Any CEL codes?

Does the fuel pump prime?

Is there bright white spark at the pugs?

obd2a harness wont work in 99-00 bc of the extra plug .whined up losing prime, and finally started. installed obd2b harness into car and speedo & tach work

You probably blew a fuse (13 or 44) during the harness swap.

didnt blow any fuses, everything was right. o well everything is good now
