long story short im sick & tired of dealing with aem b/s...so i want to start bye going a different route with the twinfire ..im using a 30-1020 box modded for cop,,epm,,,aem pencil coils.i want to swap out the twinfire .i looked into the m&w and would like to buy it but im getting rid of this car and it really dont make sense spending that much but if i have to then thats what i have to do. i was just wondering what other people are using that actually works good ..this is on a turbo h22

 

It's worth it for my pro-drag Can always put a twin fire in it to sell it, while still enjoying the M&dubya for the time being lol

 

i might have to take you up on that ..im gonna work on it today for the last time to solve this twinfire b/s then it hits the chop saw...with the rest of the aem ****

 

I decided on the pro14

 

M&w pro 14 works awesome. I'm not sure what problems you're having but use oem Honda coils not those AEM coils if you can.

 

pro14 is one badass unit. from what I was told if you street the car to go with a 14 box. If only drag then a drag 4 box. I personally run the pro14 box and have never had a problem.

 

if you are going to sell the car just sell the AEM stuff separate and put the car back on a Honda ECU.

 

I went down the AEM TwinFire road and had number of problems between the boxes and coils. The only reason I kept at it because I had awsome support form a member on here who works for them but could not take any more. I went with the pro14 and cbr coils and will never change works awesome. If you go with the pro14 box you will need to buy the cbr coils im pretty sure, I believe Tony told me the 14 will fry the aem coils

 

yea im getting rid of all this aem junk ..im done with it ..between the lies and b/s ya cant even figure **** out on your own cause they b/s ya so much...the last time i talked to tech they told me to throw the instructions away they are wrong lmao lol..thats great lol.....

 

does the epm work good? and can you use epm with m&w and cbr coils..?

 

i run the epm with the pro14 and cbr coil and works great, I have never had a problem with the epm, and I love the ems units, so people know the ems and epm are great units, the twin fires and coils suck haha.

 

me as well i am on the same aem ems and i run the pro14 with crb coils they work awsome the only knock i have with the setup is with the coil connectors themselves the pins back out of the coil and you will have to at times push them back into place other than that i wont change
