Default Red Ebay "R"s

Two options for selling an Integra Type R on Ebay:

1. Take a '98 and paint it red. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Acura...fCarsQ5fTrucks

2. Build a '94 RS Hype R (red of course) and list it as a "1994 Acura Integra Type R". http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Acura...fCarsQ5fTrucks

That is all.

then also you get those people getting shitty JDM conversions.

its funny how many people have those these days. i went to the car show IFO and entered with my 2000 ITR. Out of all the integras there, I was the only one with a USDM front. Everyone else had a JDM front. It felt weird.

I won't deny that the Hype R looks really nice, but it seems like a waste. For that money, you could get a nice R (especially in this economy).

That Hype R reminds me of that red LS some idjit was selling for 13.9k because he said it was the cleanest teggy around. Don't get mr wrong, it was nice, but not ITR price territory nice. Ended being bought by his friend and the friend put it back up for sale for 10k obo. I guess the original seller was too cocky to lower his price since it had been on the market for almost half a year with no takers and everyone saying the price was too high. When the friend sold it, it was gone in a week lmao.

But I digress. That Hype R is more worth the 13.9k than that LS will ever be.

The guy selling the '98 that has been repainted failed to state it has a salvage title as well. I remember that car and I know it was a theft recovery shell. That was back in late 2002/early 2003 but I know that is the same caR.. I will dig around and see if I can find some photos of it before he bought it.

not sure, he should have put it in the ad, i agree, but his BIN of 7k is pretty reasonable for what that car is. if i was looking for another DD i'd grab that car.

The '94 ITR is most rare out of all the ITR's. You guys didn't know it was only available in red that year?

No no, there a few red 94's. The rarest is the USDM '99. CDM is different

^ With all the money going into it, I dont get why people just dont buy the BMW instead...

Its sad that the R's Looked 10 times better than the Real R...

I giggled when i read "It has a very clean never-ending power band from 2000rpm all the way through 9000rpm, it just keeps going"

where did you read that? in the eBay posts? i love how the guy says that its build for turbo and you can "just bolt on a turbo kit for 20lbs boost". not with that c/r, no you cant. and if you look, he says "integra type R gunmetal rims $1250". yea, maybe excellent condition JDM ones. blue type R interior? yeah, nice try. and i wonder what type R he "stole" that armrest from...he went through a lot of trouble to make a cloneR. and everyone knows cloneR's are just wannabe type Rs, even if they are mechnically better.

as for the "m3" owner:

In this paragraph ..

"MCA tuned the P28 computer and a S200 Hondata with data logging . With the modifications done to the car, because the longer stroke of the bigger block, head work, throttle body, intake manifold, cams, and exhaust all consumed a lot more air than a stock B18. you can rev out to all you want 9200 RPM!! IT'S BUILT FOR IT! It does it effortlessly over and over again. The car is reliable always starts right up and idles like stock. It has a very clean never-ending power band from 2000rpm all the way through 9000rpm, it just keeps going. With the gearing that the car has it would top out at about 160 mph (@ 9000 rpm) effortlessly which the car has never gone, the fastest it has gone is in the 150s, which is hard to determine since the speedometer only reaches 140mph and after that, it’s just a guess. Nothing but high-quality parts and no expense spared in the quest of having a VERY RELIABLE, safe, very fast and discretely & tastefully styled import. Alot of thought, time and MONEY has been put into the project not to mention lots of love in order to get the desired results, which is what you will be buying and paying for. This unique car was done correctly with no short cuts or half-assed measures taken. Every thing has been professionally installed and built."
